Key Dates and Events of Urs Mubarak 2024-2025 29th December 2024 - Flag Ceremony: The Urs celebrations begin with the flag ceremony. A flag is hoisted at the Buland Darwaza (the grand entrance) of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, symbolizing the commencement of the Urs festivities. 2nd January 2025 - Urs Begins & Jannati Darwaza Opens : The official Urs celebrations begin. The Jannati Darwaza (Gate of Paradise) is opened for pilgrims.     The visiting  timings of Ajmer Sharif Dargah  in winters start from 5 AM; and visitors can seek blessings of the sufi saint in dargah till 9 PM. In summers the visiting time is from 4 AM until 10 PM.  For a short span of time around 3 PM the doors of Mazar E-Aqdas are closed for cleaning. The average time spent in Ajmer Sharif Dargah is around 2 to 3 hours.
